I think most of the world would be saddened somewhat by Arafat's death. We've all followed the Arab-Israeli conflict for years and years and I think Arafat's been a hero on occasion, relative to Sharon's behaviour anyhow.

Arafat has never kicked back any offers to Palestinians statehood. Any offer meeting my 3 criterea have never existed despite the fact that all three criteria are fundemental rights of the Palestinians. I challenge anyone to show me a single peace initiative proposed by the US/Israel that covers these three areas.

Furthermore, it is wrong to say the Jews planned the holocaust, though it would be very correct to say that zionist leaders of the time were quite willing to sacrifice fellow Jew for the "good" of Israel.

Self-Determination is a fundemental human right. Off memory its the ICCPR.

Right to return to there home is under Geneva Conventions at the very least.

The land falls under self-determination and the mandated 1967 borders agreed apon in the UN.

This right you speak of does not exist, "Israel right to a home", i assume you mean, "Jewish right to a country". Well no such right exists unless the Jewish people form a nation like the Palestinians do.
There is no right to have mass-migration to a region that is already populated, then in conjunction with the British military pushing out (and killing) it's non-Jewish inhabitants and forming a new state.

I am saying there was no legal basis for the establishment of Israel, that there were no "rights" involved. Not that I wanted the end of Israel as a country.
