Are the physics practical tets hard?
How do they compare to the practical tets in biology and chemistry?

I don't do bio or chem, but I don't think the physics pracs are too hard.

We only had 1 for year 11 and 1 for year 12 and they were both only worth about 15%, so it's nothing to sweat over. Also we had an open ended practical in year 12, but we had 3 weeks to do it.

This year, our teacher went easy on us and set up three experiments around the room, and all we had to do was take measurements and then write it all up. The hardest thing I found was that I ran out of time to write everything up, because you have to talk about everything from accuracy to teamwork.

I think chemistry is a much more prac based subject, the assessment for physics is mainly in research and exams.

Don't let this influence your subject choices for year 11 - if you enjoy the physics topics (ie electricity, forces and space), then give it a go.
