1. haaaaaaaaawt indeed.
2. No definitive answer. Depends how the car has lived. That said, it is an old car.
3. shitloads.
4. Celica? Pulsar? Soarer? iono

Supra's retain their value like crazy, so prepare to PAY if you really want a good one.

1. Very hot
2. Should be alright if it's been kept in real good shape and not modified or pushed hard... but questionable, especially if it's been modified a lot.
3. Ranging from very pricey to super pricey depending on condition/modifications as well as how old you are and so on.
4. FTOs, Celicas, RX7s, Fairladys, Skylines, MR2s, etc... are all in that category but vary significantly in price/running costs/availability. I also just realised that Toyota, once great at making the japanese sports cars (Celica, MR2, Supra) is now without such a car in it's lineup (bar the Sportivo models of Corolla/Camry/Aurion). Nissan I suppose at least still has the 350z (but no Skyline)

Supras tend to be the "look at me, im fully sick" kinda car, so it's more likely that their previous owners will have thrashed it more than usual.

i think it would be a bad buy for a young person. Go for something unassuming, but with a fair bit of power, that way avoid big insurance. a VW golf would be a good idea.

cept the fact it's illegal for P platers to drive! :p
Exactly my first thought.... '06er, unless they're one of the ancient overseas people who turn 20 in yr12 [I had one in my school, saddd]

But yeahhh.. you wont be able to get it unless you're unrestricted, which I highly doubt.

But yeah, I dislike Supras.. so I would give you a biased opinion..

Insurance would kill the shit out of you in general.. but I mean, depends on who's paying for it..

Alternatives.. whatever seremify said.. and since he mentioned the mr2, I thought about the 2nd gen CRX [1st gen is apparently good, but I hate its looks].. rare little car.. but I think it's NA.. however, manual only.. so if you cant drive manual, forget about the majority of these cars listed..

A VW GOLF????

Oh yeah, well if you're concerned about insurance premiums yeah, but i personally wouldn't be caught dead owning a vw golf.

Base Golf sucks.

If you opt for European cars, you have to spend big............ like the Golf Gti or Golf R32, fuck me dead!
