im sure there is...but where? you could just befriend a staff member at a cafe during summer, and then hope that they'll be friendly during winter.

There used to be at Manning and Wentworth. Manning doesn't have it anymore, and I don't think Wentworth has one either. I was quite pissed off when I wanted to heat up my green curry but couldn't find one.

I'm quite sure they've still got microwaves on level 4 of wentworth (my second home). They're near the window overlooking the seats outside Hermann's.

Near the engineering lawns, about 50 metres from the engo library.

They took our microwave away because of VSU.

:/ But it was already there. Does not make sense, onselling microwaves doesn't make for massive profit. :S

The Union wanted to encourage Con students to buy an Access Card. So all the freebies are gone. The kettle outside my office on level 4 disappeared recently, as did the microwave in the Cafe. All that's left are revenue-raising services.

At the new School of IT building they've got 2 microwaves, a sink & a fridge.

Plus there are pretty comfy couches next to it.

Ugh, I had to have lunch with my mum (which is a researcher at usyd) at Wentworth!!

Funny seeing all my friends and just wave at them...

The only reason was I needed to borrow her car for a bit

if u could be bothered, goto engo cafe near the lib
but it's sometimes a bit seedy...
could try the elec eng common room...
although, it can be a bit tempermental (ironic that the elec eng has a stuffed up microwave?)

after they removed the manning one i just used the one in mungo-mccallum. it's down the hall from the psych office and is supposedly for staff use only but nobody has said anything when i've used it. just keep the little kitchenette area clean and nobody will care.
