Lets say you are given a prepared task, like composition. You are caught plagiarising(teacher found out you lied) and you got a 0, and a N warning letter is sent home. Problem is, i dont understand if it is possible to redo the task, because normally N letters will state 'if a student submits a task that the teacher believes it is not his work(e.g. plagiarised and caught), a n letter will be sent home, stating the student must reproduce the work again under exam conditions. Failure to do so will result in 0.

What if the person already got a 0? The warning letter would be reaching my house in 1 weeks time and normally the letter will say what i have to do to 'make up' for the N warning, because i did not complete the assessment?

You will probably need to do the exam again to redeem the N Award if that's the case but you will still get 0 either way.

If you are caught cheating you will get a 0 but still have to do the task

I think If you don't do it you become ineligible for getting a mark in that subject at all. But I am not too sure.

If you don't satisfactorily complete the course, you may not be eligible for the HSC and Preliminary courses. You must satisfactorily complete that task in order to fulfil the requirements of the course so you can be allowed to progress further in your education. You will still get 0 because you have committed an act of malpractice.

OP: Of course not. Or else everyone would cheat a test if they were unprepared for it and redo it again to get 100% :)

If you fail to complete 50%+ of the course, you won't be able to sit the exams for it. Redoing the assessment means you will still have completed that % of the course.
