is anybody using any of the artists from the Sydney Biennale, my art teacher thinks that they will be in the exam.

i thought the exam Qs were already made up 6-months before the actual test ..

anywho .. what this Syd Bieannle thingio ?.. i would go if its actually worth some effort... like the MCA

The Biennale is held once every 2 years, and usually there's a theme. Last year's theme was "I feel, therefore I am", so the artworks were chosen based on how they represented the theme...I didn't think they were that great though, some of the artworks were way too "Oh this represents my emotions and my feelings and although blah blah, this is how I feel and I am art etc etc".

i really enjoyed the biennale.... my favourite artwork was Mario Rizzi's installation titled The Sofa Of Jung
