Hey guys,
We're doing assault in Crim at the moment, and the lecture uses the term "psychic assault" for creating an apprehension of immediate violence in the victim (ie, assault under civil law) and "physical assault" for actual unlawful contact (ie, battery under civil law).
I think both her terms sound dodgy (even though they're valid) so I've adopted "Battery Assault" for physical assault. Now I'm trying to come up with a decent term for psychic assault and the best I can come up with is "non-physical". Can you guys think of any classy names like "s32 assault" or something that sound better than psychic assault?
Cheers,
-Sam
