I have an Oral (12 minutes + 3 min question time)
the assesment is to, using primary and secondary research material
a) outline the significance of your issue to the development of Aust. society
b) Identify the influenceof Christiantiy has had on the development of your chosen area
c) evaluate the extent to which Christianity (include varients where appropriate) has impacted on the chosen area of study

i have chosen to do healthcare, cause i come from a family of doctors (good source of information)...
is anyone doing anything similar or can anyone offer any help...suggestions...advice?

thanks

I assume you mean "medical care" (not health care as per the syllabus. They are actually two separate things!!).
Places to look that may get you started.

(all taken from a google search for "religious hospitals+australia")
I woudl also look at the Royal Flying Doctor Service (http://www.rfds.org.au/) and St. Vincents Hospital, Potts Point (http://www.stvincents.com.au/) as examples to use.
You could also look at the whole specialist doctor thing (which your family can help with) with certain religious hospitals being specialist hospitals eg the SAN/Sydney Adventist Hospital being a heart "specialist" hospital (http://www.sah.org.au/default.asp)
Maybe you can find out from a politcial POV as well (for today)??

Remember to post up any other sites you find here in this thread to help others out!!

Hope this helps,
SH
