hi there.. im just wondering what sort of UAI i can expect with the following ranks..

english (standard) - 1 / 112

2 unit maths - 6/ 99

3 unit maths - 25 /99

business studies -15 /50

economics - 9 / 40

physics - 10 / 70

appreciate ur advice..

heyz matee! u must be curry since you go 2 homebush boyzz...lolz yeaa yahh doing pretty good ! you will get around 75 -80+ uai.. i say this because you do standard and thats 1 subject that doesnt do very well compared to advance. thats from what i hear but put ya marks in SAM n check it out.. But sayin that your marks look alright and just do well in the hsc.. Your school is pretty good as well! lol btw this better not be Achu im talking 2 =S! lol if not say hey 2 himz 4 mee..sheeya m8!

yeah cheerz for ur advice..though it wasnt what i was expecting ..OR BELIVE .. for that matter..
75 - 80 isnt even an option for me.. so yeah..
oh and btw.. i put the marks i expect ( after looking at my final school assessment marks) and the uai is coming close to .. if not slightly higher than 95 ..
anyway..thanks anyway..

standard english --top 5 out of 77-- 83.5/100

general maths --top 10 out of 75-- 66.6/100

biology-- top 10 out of 25 students-- 67.9/100

business studies top 10 ot of 25 studnets --78.9/100

legal studies top 5 out of 30 studens-- 82.5/100
i go to auburn grils high scholl which ranked 468 i really need a uai of 80+, but there are top students in my year

there's always the PM people, you can have your curry gathering elsewhere

as for predicted uais, can't say now .. but maybe look at how people in the past have fared? i know in some schools the dux is 'only' 88ish so even if you're close to topping it 85-90 (as opposed to the 95+ someone mentioned) might be more realistic.

our dux last year got 99.7....but compared to this year, we all suck, so its not really good to take into account what happened last year, unless of course you go to a 'stable' school such as a selective school

what was the average uai like in your school last year?

well i dont know i go to chatswood high, it was ranked 134th in 2004 and the average uai was about 80 - 85 ...i thnk. so u can go work it out from there
