At UNSW if you do a double degree, does it mean you have more uni hours a week???, than say someone with a single degree.




ALSO

if you do a double major does it also mean that you must spend more days at uni..?? a week?

no that is not automatic

Double degrees aren't actually harder you just don't get free electives like everyone else

No you do the same number of subjects each semester (unless you overload), it just takes more years to complete

It depends.
For example, If you were to double degree com with engo or science, then you would get significantly more hours.
If you however were to double degree com with arts or eco, then you still only go to uni 3 days a week.

It also depends on your subject selection, if you were to pick more commerce subjects over subjects like engo/sci then your timetable will most likely be 3x a week.

what do you mean when you say, you dont get free electives like everyon eelse?
worry about it when u get to uni...
but briefly,
A degree can be split into core courses/electives (of your major/faculty), general electives for anything/gen eds.
If you do a double degree, you'll just be doing the cores/electives (of your major/faculty) for both your degrees, and you'lll skip the general electives/gen eds.
