Hey, I just did the maths extension one exam and i didnt do really well, like waaaay off my usual standard. So i was wondering if based on all my subjects, what atar would i probably get? And what happens if i dropped my rank in the math ext 1 exam, what does it affect?

My school's rank 61.

ESL - 1/39
Math - 15/94
Maths Ext 1 - 7/54
Biology - 6/67
Chemistry 6/54
Physics 6/35

Thanks a lot <3

imo 94/95 :), your HSC mark won't affect your rank, rather your cohorts performance will moderate your internal mark based on your ranking, you keep your HSC exam mark, this is then combined with your internal mark to give you your HSC mark, which is then used for ATAR calculations. In simpler terms your external mark will affect your ATAR.

Thanks a lot. So the HSC mark will be aligned before it is combined with my internal marks. So....., say i did badly in one paper, it will be aligned before i get an overall mark ?
