hey guys,
what atar do you reckon with these ranks?
btw school rank 200ish

Ad english 40/61
Engineering 6/13 (everyone's like 1 mark apart :mad: )
Physics 16/27
Mathematics 20/39
SOR 2 18/32

im aiming for 85ish :/

ok thanks guys. so for me to push up that ATAR id probably have to get near the 90's for my HSC exams right?

if u want to push it up to 85 u need to score like mid-high 80s for each subject in externals. if u want to push it to 90 u will have to score minimum 90s in each subject.

ahh okay. do you know of the band 5 and 6 cut offs? is it about 80 and 90 % raw mark?

In terms of raw marks, the cutoffs are usually lower. For example, in physics, the cutoff for a band 6 is a raw external mark of around 78/100. If you want to see what final marks equal what ATAR, try using an ATAR calculator, as they can give you a fairly accurate idea of what you need.
