Just curious as to what my range of possible ATARs will be - I don't need a high ATAR (computer science ftw :D).

My school was in the top 10 last year, as it has been for a while.

Prelim Ranks:
Chemistry - 11/64 (I dropped that this year - I was just doing it for filler units)
English Adv. - 35/126
Mathematics - 11/104 (although I'm doing ext. 2, so disregard)
Economics - 6/44
Physics - 2/31
Mathematics Ext. 1 - 4/88

+ I also did accelerated IPT last year and got a state ranking.
For the first set of assessments of year 12, I came first in Maths Ext. 1 & 2., and Economics. I did somewhat above-averagely in Physics. I haven't done an English assessment yet, though. English is my worst subject - I'm worried about that.

Thanks! :)

Based on all that information, I'd say your on track for 97.5+, but probably closer to the 99 range. However, its very early in the year and a lot can change from now until the final exams.

99+ judging from your yr 12 ranks and IPT
also prelim is not a solid indicator of your ATAR. I go to a top 10 as well and even at my school at least 15% didnt really give a shit about yr 11

Mmm, yeah. I'm not very reassured by my prelim marks. :p That said, I'm not reassured by much. And, thanks.

I reckon 99+ is definitely possible with those ranks. You will need to work hard to maintain those ranks, and deliver a good HSC performance.

First in mx1 and mx2 at a top 10 school.. defs = heading towards 95+ hsc marks for both, and a state rank in IPT,
above avg in phys - probs equals low band 6.

From those your defs heading towards 99+
