bad marks and ranks

these are my ranks . passed ipt religion and english. just failed chem physics and bombed out math.
9/19 physics
40/130 english
15/20 math advance
17/19 chemistry (but i know i can beat more the half the class coz i did in trials)
7/11 ipt
70/90 religion

thanks guys im worried . i need 85ish

school rank was like 219 last year , but i think top 200 this year looks good.

Probably around the prediction I gave. I do not claim to be an expert in the field of providing ATAR predictions, but it should be as a guide so as to improve your ATAR 'range' if you so wish.

i think aqua was right with estimate

but 79 - 83 its an estimate and kind of includes a radius of say 74 - 87

It will really come down to a lot of influence as to how well you go in English, and as to whether that is Advanced English or Standard English. Achieving high bands in standard is not common is quite hard (considering the lesser abilities of the cohort in comparison to those of the Advanced cohort).

im aiming for a band 5 in chem , physics, and ipt . and a low band 6 for religion .
maths a band 4 .
just hope it gets me in the 80s , i can probably push with some bonus points for the course .

Your most realistic ATAR will lie between the mid 70s up to the low 80s.

I'm not sure if those ranks will be enough. My mate got 77 (school rank 290) and he had rankings inside the top 40% of all his subjects. Thats why I'm reluctant to say 80+. Sorry I couldnt be more optimistic

btw guys the chem phys and english ranks are very tight for like 4 spots above me
