Hello all, I'd like to start off, I'm not going to UNI, I want to join the NAVY, so did year 12 to expand my career options for the defence force. Now it seems if I want to become a Maritime Warfare Officer, then I need an ATAR of 70. (But guys, let's be serious, i'm not going to even get close to 70)

Here are my ranks:

School Rank: 170

English Rank: 4/50 (My friend was 3rd, my teacher said at the end of year I was coming 2nd, but I don't believe her, (LONG STORY))
Engineering Studies: 2/6
General Maths 18/37
Biology: 28/37
Physics: 8/9

So what would you Estimate for my ATAR?

Your not far off 70. However, Bio and Physics are dragging your ATAR right down. I'd say approx: 60. If you do well in the externals you COULD bump it up to 70+, lots of hard work required though.

If you mean advanced english then I would think you are ~70
Don't be so harsh on yourself. If you really don't think you will get 70, then study your arse off and you'll see if you do well in your externals then you will smash 70
