I understand you need to do lots of extra-curricular activities, have good references, etc. But what is a rough minimum ATAR required for a scholarship at some of the more distinguished universities (e.g. UNSW, USYD, Macquarie, etc). Thanks

90-95, 95+ to be in good standing IMO.

The more lenient ones (ATAR wise) will have other criteria though (financial trouble, rural area, bad school, etc)

Depends on the scholarship tbh. If it's an academic one at unsw/usyd then it's rlly competitive and it's like 99+ as well as extracurriculars etc.
Uws is 90 though.

However if you play sports at a high level your ATAR is irrelevant
