By the way, is the law building open for actual classes? Some people have tutes in rooms inside the new law building..

I know the official opening is at the end of April.. but just wondering whether its actually open for classes?

Yeah I have a class in the new law building...so I assume the opening is more ceremonial than functional

the opening in april is probably just so they can wine and dine all the corporate sponsors. (students will be studying in the 'Freehills Law Library' and the 'Mallesons Stephen Jaques Lecture Theatre' or something, so clearly all the big firms have stumped up a lot of cash if they're getting shit named after them and therefore expect a bit of pampering in return.)
