I sat a Language Continuers HSC exam yesterday, and during the listening section, I noticed that the audio was cutting off at the end of sentences, making it difficult to clearly hear and understand the last words.
At first, I thought it might have been just me, but after the exam, I spoke to another student who sat the same exam, and she experienced the exact same issue, with the audio cutting off, especially at the end of each sentence.
We couldn’t say anything during the exam because raising the issue would have affected the exam time, and at the moment, I wasn’t sure if it was just me.
We immediately informed our school, but they said the issue wasn’t related to them and that it was a NESA issue. They mentioned that we could submit an Illness and Misadventure form, but we’re unsure how that would help since it wasn’t a personal issue it was a technical fault affecting exam conditions.
Could someone please advise:

Could someone please advise:
- Is there a formal way to report audio/technical issues that occur during a language exam?
- Will NESA review or make allowances for students affected by this?
- Do we still need to submit the Illness and Misadventure form individually, or is there a separate reporting process for technical problems?
