If you show enthusiasm and put effort into helping out then the coordinators may decide that you have what it takes to help organise an interstate presentation evening. I helped to do the WA one last year. It's a lot harder than you may think, it requires a lot of initiative and thinking outside the box.
And just remember: I outrank you all in seniority (gotta love being the '03 coordinator). Bow down to the old and crusty one!
