Hi.

So, the Australian Mathematics Competition is held this Thursday. Is anyone practising for this? Is there any point to practice? Also, do you have tips or tricks, especially for the last ten questions, which are almost impossible for me? LOL.

If there's a general solution type question, or a question involving 2013 and it's like a recursive pattern or some sort of equation, if you have no clue how to do it, use a simpler case (e.g. instead of n=2013, try n=3, 4, etc), and either guess what the answer will be or try to see a pattern.

Don't they tend to ask questions with the year number, i.e. 2013, in it?
