i had made this post to see where everyone is at. i was also wondering if we had a state ranker among us. i didnt intend it to be a boasting forum.

hmmm averaging between 66-75 for ext 1... and late 70s for ext 2..... hoping to get to high 70s for ext 1 and at least high 80s for ext 2 by the time exams roll around.

Ill boast for a guy in my year. He consistently gets over 110 in ext 2. That is what i aim to be doing when i get to the exam also.

Also what is harder the HSC or past trials ?? I have only been doing past trials as i am saving the HSC's for the week before and I was wondering what is harder.

i would say past trials but their difficulty varies, most are harder than hsc's though

did anyone else find the ext2 2003 exam to be a death sentence? im pretty sure that was the year.. or 2002.

i think our aims are all high.. lets see who achieves.

what i've heard is out of the 2000's 2006 is the hardesst for ext 1, not sure bout ext 2. havnt done the hsc's yet though

I did the 2008 Independent trial and got 104. It was not that hard. I got 55% in our trial (CSSA) however. But i didnt study and i had a really bad day i was thinking of doing it again to see what i would get but i dont really have the time and i would rather do completely new stuff and it doesnt look to bad.

well i dont know about the new exams but the older ones are ok, not that crazy.

i think that the hsc papers are actually quite hard, especially q7&8

1-6 is like easy-ok, then they kick it up 5-6 levels in 7 and 8 :mad1:

yeah i can't seem to do a past paper because i get up to q6/7/8 and cbf .

the hsc papers are cake compared to sydney boys papers; especially hsc papers post 2000 bar 2003.

I heard that some guy got 120/120 on the 1992 MX2 paper. Does anyone have the MX2 paper?
