Can someone please tell me what the hell is an AVI file and why I can't play it? I've tried downloading those Converter things, but it's not working. Thanks

Someone has probably said it but Get DivX and Install the full product. The converters don't work.

DivX is the bomb, especially when you have all the codecs. Theres no way you can go wrong, and DivX still hasn't let me down.

On that subject of video files, I was wondering if any one knew how to take screen capture of video files since the usual PrtScr method does not work with such media.

Sometimes video playback uses overlay mode, which basically means playback is done directly to the video card, bypassing the usual video buffer.

You can try to get around this by playing another video file first, then while the first is playing, play the file you want to take a screenshot of using print screen.

Also I've just recently done a reformat and can't be fucked dling divx hehe...
Is there a reg hax to have multiple wmp running? It's just like acrobat reader :/

Use something else, like Media Player Classic or Media Player 6.4
