Is studying B Applied Finance same as doing Finace as major in B commerce - accounting? I am reallli confused...-.-;; Or is applied finance more in depth?

with B commerce - accounting, you cant major in finance, you dont choose majors .... your major is accounting! , although you can do finance related electives

b. applied finance is equivalent to b. commerce with majors in finance at other uni's...

mq felt they had to create a whole separate degree with applied finance... :S
the degree is made up of accounting and economics units, and a few actuarial units...
