I'm sorry if this thread has been made before, but...

I've missed out on my first preference (b ed./b arts - according to lst years cutoff) by 1.3 marks. The thing is I only make it into plain B arts by .2 of a mark...

Someone stated in another thread that due to another 700 positions available the cutoff may go down. Can someone please clarify this?

Also, I if i miss out on a course (only by a really narrow cutoff^^^) Is there anyway to get into Syd uni?

im not sure but 700 sounds like a heck of a lot.

all i know is that a lot of cut offs are expected to not change much or go down

Yeah, we were told that at the open day in August, and I really hope it's true, cause I'm not much above the cutoff, either.

If it makes you feel any better, company_sin, I'm petrified too

This is the first I've heard of USYD cut off's not changing much....pls pls pls let that be true

yeah well im only 0.65 above the adv sci cut off so im on the edge of my seat
