Hey everyone. I just got accepted into the B Economics and i have a question that i hope you can answer for me. I was just wondering if i choose to do a double major for example, economics and accounting would i become icca accredited?

Sorry if this question has already been asked.

thanks.

Basically, you can JUST fit it in your program.

Your core subj's, Accounting major, Economics major (60CP remember) and the LEGT/FINS all add up to 144CP

you cant get your ca for ANY econ course at unsw.

core is 36
acct major is 42
bus law subs are 24
fins1613 is 6
gen eds are 12

you got 24 left, which isnt enough for the compulsory econ major

24 of those core courses already contribute to your majors, that is acct1501/1511 (for accounting) and econ1101/1102 (for economics)

So you got 36 left and 12 of the 42 units of the economics major done, so you actually have more than enough and a spare elective

Then she's stupid, although the BEc part in BEc/BA is 132 units (instead of regular BEc which is 144), thats because you don't have to do GenEds in double degrees, thus anything you can do with a BEc you can do with a BEc/BA or a BEc(lib).
