I've had a close look at the UTS handbook and tried to compare B/Eng and the double degree with science but I'm still not sure which ones a better choice for me.
I'm interested mainly in electrical eng.

B/Eng B/Science seems to have almost the same subjects as B/Eng minus some electives and a whole new major (+ 1 year). Both offer it with a diploma in eng practice. If I graduated with the double degree how would it affect getting jobs in the electrical eng field? Does the science degree help?

If so which science majors work best with electrical?

Any information would be great

hey i was doing B telecom eng/ B med sci at UTS. I ended up dropping eng afta 1st yr coz I really liked med sci n i knew i wouldn't work in telecom area.

combined degree is good as it provides a wide career path.... Eng by itself is 5 yr..... so u might aswel do a double degree... if u really like your eng major den i think it's a really good idea to enrol into double degree.... you can always drop out if u don't like it.... remember dropin out is always easier then enroling in...

hope this helps in some way.... let me kno if u need any info/ text books
