last year's exam was fairly easy and this year's was even easier. you'll have to get upwards 82 for a band six exam mark imo.

1st angle was alt. then the second one was corresponding that F shape then last was an angle sum proof for (AAA)

my teacher says the cut off is normally 75 and he is a hsc judge

For question 16 a I proved that angle BFE and angle BCD are corresponding but instead of proving another angle is equal is said that the 2 sides (surrounding the angle) were in equal ratio, that is, BE/EA and BF/FC, and since FC=ED, therefore BF/ED. I stated that they were in equal ratio because they were cut by a line which is parallel to the base (FE), meaning the sides are cut into equal ratios. So I proved they were similar on the test of two sides in equal ratio and included angle equal. Anyone confirm if I'll get the 2 marks?

If Band 5 cut off is around mid-late 70s....I'm hoping I can get that

hang on.. are you saying if you got about 80/100 for the test, you have a chance at getting a band 6? whaaat? it wasnt that hard and i suck at maths. well, i didnt answer question 16, and a few other errors leaving me with 80. band 6? gee i was thinking youd need to get atleast 90 for a band 6.

ayy speaking of tricks if yous remember question 15a- the geometric progesson about the rectangles did anyone times the length they got by two??
to account for the top length as well
i did then i crossed it out
