What kind of raw score would one be looking at to achieve a Band 6 in 2U? I'm aware it'd change between HSC papers, but just an educated estimate would suffice. I think I've heard the figure 95 thrown around in previous years, but I'm not sure.

There is debate on what raw marks would get you a band 6. If you get 100 and over in terms of raw marks, then it's almost a certainty that you would receive a band 6. My guess would be around the mid 90s in terms of raw marks, in order to scrape a band 6. But it does change every year.

Haha nah, Maths has 10 questions, all worth 12 marks each.

There was another thread deliberating over this a while back. From FOI applications and replies with raw marks, the estimates were around 94/120 for 90% and 101/120 for 93%.

You can check it in the raw marks thread in the other forum, but there's a lot of junk.

Yeah in 2004 myself and someone else got our raw marks back, and those 2 marks were enough to get a rough indication of the cutoff for 2004. Mid 90s seems about right.
