There is no such thing as a Bachelor of Accounting. You would do a B of Commerce (majoring in accounting), or B of Business (majoring in accounting.

Bachelor of Accounting is a scholarship program provided by UTS.

I think what you meant is Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Commerce. they're the same thing, different in name. You can major in Accounting for these courses.
If not, there's also Bachelor of Economics. As far as I know, you have to major in Economics but then you can also major in Accounting as well.

Bach of Accounting, you get sponsor by the major accounting firm e.g EY etc.. I heard you work for your CPA straight away but im not sure..

Bach of business/commerce is the same thing just different/modern name.... 1st year will be all general business e.g marketing, business all that jazz and 2nd year would be your major and submajor...

I major in Economics and Finance and sub major in international management..

Bachelor of Accounting is the coop program offered by UTS which is basically a normal uni degree in the same time period but they cram in a few work placements. That is, you'll be doing courses in holidays/overloading in order to do the work placement but you get good diverse experience.

As for Business vs. Commerce, Business is the UTS degree, whilst most other unis (at least in Sydney) call it Commerce.

to get into b commerce @ unsw is competitive enough for students straight off from high school. so, i think you really need outstanding results to have a chance of getting in...

well technically bachelor of commerce is not accounting...
just picture it like this.. you're going to do a COURSE named commerce/business. within that course, there's tons of SUBJECT AREAS like accounting, finance, marketing, economics, management, etc.
during your first year, you will have to do compulsory newbie subjects, e.g.: first year accounting, management, economics, finance, etc..
and then during your second year, you are given the choice of doing any subjects you want - usually you can pick specialisations in two subject areas, and we call this MAJORS. Since, you seem to want to do accounting that badly, you will have to take accounting as one of your major, and then you will have to take another subject area as your second major.

@op if you want get into UNSW, MQ, UTS...ect. You need advance dip, unless you go UWS and transfer later. Also most unis don't have commerce degree oopen in mid-year, only UWS.
