There are limits, and exclusions. You should refer to the degree
summary sections of this chapter for specific information about your
3. Bachelor of Science, BSc(Adv), BSc(Adv Maths), BSc(Adv)/MBBS
3. Bachelor of Science, BSc(Adv), BSc(Adv Maths),
BSc(Adv)/MBBS
particular degree. The Bachelor of Science allows for up to 48 credit
points of Non-Science units of study to be included in the 3-year
program. Junior Econometrics (ECMT units) and General Statistical
Methods (STAT units) are specifically excluded from the BSc. Students
in specialist programs and combined degrees may have less flexibility.

What exactly does that section of the text mean because when I look a few pages below... refer to the degree summary sections of this chapter for specific information about your Bachelor of Science and in this section it doesn't mention any exclusions...

Well I asked someone at the faculty about doing EMCT units and STAT units, and they said it's possible, but does it not count towards the degree or something?

Yeah, I'd say you can do those particular units but they won't contribute to your degree. In that, you'll be able to do them, but you'll have to do other units in addition to them (ie: overload, or go over the 3 years) to get your science degree.

I think it's a different STAT. I've seen that before and I asked about on here a couple of years ago. If STAT is not part of a science degree, then there's something wrong with the uni...I did 12 credit points of STAT and I'm pretty sure it counted towards my degree considering they sent me a transcript saying I "passed" my degree requirements.
