I don't think LHC will answer this for us, but I also don't think that the LHC will kill anyone. As calculated by many independent qualified physicists, even if a black hole was created it would take many thousands of years to gain enough mass to become a threat, and by then we could destroy it or at least save the human race by sending Kal-el to another planet where he'll become known as Clark Kent.
In a way, it would be interesting if a black hole was created - we could finally study a black hole close up; though we know its probably just a highly condensed piece of matter, what can matter at that density do? Is there any special properties? Implications for intergalactic space travel?
