hey guys opinions would be appreciated
my marks so far in maths extension 1:
84% - 15% weighting
77% - 30% weighting
65% - 15% weighting

i was coming i think 25/79 before the last result. have no idea where i am now. i only have my trials left that are weighted 40%. can i still pull in a band 6 or even a band 5 (or the extension e-thingy equivalent)? or am i kidding myself? i won't cry if you say no, so honest opinions are apreciated :) i was hoping this would count since the amount of work i have to put in but if i'm only going to get a band 4 i figure i should drop :(

umm idk if this makes a difference but i saw other people putting up there school rankings (i assume from last yrs hsc?) my school ranking from last yrs hsc was 37th

thanks!

the only bands that exist for extension subjects are E1 to E4. Yes you can probably achieve E3 with that.

ive heard a range of things.. apparently 30% of people in the state get an E4 in MX1

also, apparently a minimum of E4 is 75% in the actual HSC exam (ie 63/84)

just saying

I think the ranking depends on what school you go to as well. Also internal examinations as well, some schools set much harder tests.
