from my understanding i know it has a lot to do with my ranks ? but could you please explain if that is alright ?
simply put, your internal rank will have a significant influence on your final HSC mark-so you need to strive to get best internal marks as well as external mark-when you do the actual, final HSC exam. Essentially, the best way to know how to get a band 5/6 for all your subjects-i.e. with respect to what rank you approximately need to get is:
1)Ask your teachers if your school cohort has a consistent performance in the HSC in the past years
-If the answer is yes, then ask your corresponding subject teachers of what is the approximate rank a person has to get to get band 5/6, and you can then try to aim for that rank range(try to be consistently within it by working hard throughout your HSC year)
-If the answer is no, your cohort quality fluctuates, then you should try to aim for at least the top 5 or top 3 of each course, implement various study strategies and efficient revision as well as self-studying techniques, do a lot of practice papers under EXAM CONDITIONS, ask questions if you don't understand ANYTHING-and give everything your very best shot and evaluate all your mistakes to avoid making them again-that way, you will maximise your rank and your chance to get your desired marks/bands.
Just to remember even if you got a good accumulative rank at the end of the year, to try equally hard in the external HSC exam. With consistent performance, persevering determination, and absolute concentration with a dose of omnipresent optimism, you will be able to achieve your desired goals.
