Predictions for Band 6 Cut off? Looking at previous years, I thought this years paper was definitely harder than 2014, but probably not as easy as ones prior to that. I'm gonna say 78-79ish raw for a band 6?

Nah I'd say a little higher. Maybe 82

2011 was a fairly difficult paper, hence I think high 70's this time around will get you there

That's not very relevant considering it's sounding like this years was similar difficulty to last years where the cut off was around 82.

Well i'm getting mixed opinions, half saying it was easy, half saying it was harder. My neighbor said she thought it was pretty straightforward except for the ambigious graph q.

The graph asked for a line graph, I wouldn't have used a line of best fit simply because the dots were too far apart for the line to realistically represent the data.

Yeah, the overall trend wasn't linear and a line of best fit also wouldn't show the increase after 2000

can raw marks as a low as 80-85 really get a 90 hsc mark whoa i never knew

Changed my mind, this year was even easier than last year so probably 83 or 84 will align to 90.

Thats what i first thought but i reckon for people doing industrial you would need 85 because it was so easy.
