thats a load of bs,
its easy to get a b6 in general, get above 90 in the exam and have an assesment mark of over 90 and ur in.
infact, if you around 99, you'll get a scaled mark as good as 94 in 2U maths, but thats as high as you can go.
maybe he is talking about scaled mark, because general maths scaled mark is capped at around 88 (the same as around 94 in 2U maths)

To stop people who are capable of doing well in 2 unit and above to drop down to general maths and get 100, which will then help boost up their UAI, basically.
Shhh, that's what I'm doing.

i do maths but my main concern for this capping thing is for jap beginners, i did it in yr 8 and i was top of the class, doing it in yr 11, its like repeating EVERYTHIN, so know im like 100% student, so i was wonding, if i get 100, and the mark is capped, plus scaled down, does that destroy my chance of gettin 100 UAI..? not like i was aiming for that but i was hoping sum good marks coming from my jap, i dunno if ill keep maths gen, only cause of its terrible scaling, but if i did that id also be gettin like 90+ sinse i did advance maths from yr 7 - 10, but as a dailing student, but general maths is just too easy, aww i dont like this capping buisness...
