hey i was just wondering if i got below average for my first assessment and half yearly exam for maths extension 1, is it still possible for me to get a band 6 in it? ahh so devo about 3u

got 21/28 for task 1 and 41/70 task 2, overall rank low 20s/55-60

Hey. I was accelerated and did maths extension 1 last year. Even if you did worse than expected in the first two assessment tasks, don't forget that trials are usually worth 40% of your internal mark. Considering that the external HSC is worth 50%, this means that trials + externals = 70% of your final HSC mark. Hence, of course you can still get an E4! It just means you have to work a bit harder than somebody who has been coming first in everything.

it also depends on your ranks and cohort
