It depends on how good you are at maths.
It was too heavy on maths, I reckon.
People who are good at maths but are crap at memorising would have really liked this exam

Are you more Maths-inclined or English-inclined? Because, that test was seriously a test made for Mathematicians.

lol definitely not in the 80s range coz i know most ppl who thought mc was easy is because they didn't get the trick involved (though they prolly think they did good but they prolly did pretty crap). should b around 78ish or something

Yeah alot of calculations like much more than usual which was what made the test hard, you had to convert so many units cm into m, g into kg, which i almost forgot to do.

My guess of band cutoffs

band 6: 78 - 81

band 5: 62 - 65

band 4: 45 - 50

band 3: 30 -35

band 2 : under 30

There was more theory in the option then the whole paper.
What a joke.

Thats not the point. We spent a year studying for societal impacts only to be raped in the anus by mass maths questions, feels like a wasted year to me. May as well have just studied calculations the entire time.

To me this exam cemented the fact that the board of studies has no idea what they are doing.

Re: Above

Too right mate --- whoever usually designs the papers seems to have kucked off on holiday or something! Chem, physics, religion studies have all had really differnt formats or emphasis...and adv eng (due to number of related texts) was differnt too.

Screw the board of studies --- can't wait to finish and shove their ATAR up their ass.:chainsaw:
