Band E4 (1 Viewer)

I'm averaging around 80% for non-CSSA 4u trials (eg SBHS, JRAHS), and this is excluding the mechanics section because we haven't covered it yet, and I'm finishing with about 45-50 mins to spare to account for the time that would be spent in that section (usually ~15 marks). Will this sort of mark be enough to get me into band E4?

i reckon you should.

although it depends on how you marked it though, hsc markers can be a bitch. their first principle is to maximise the marks deducted by using calculus to graph a function of the predicted results then differentiating to find the minimum turning point. then they apply their guidlines accordingly.

45-50 min left? thats a of lot time

well i dunno... the trial q 8's seem rather alot easy...

hate to say it but the q8 in 4u trial i did was not that not acheivable... u'd expect q8 to be alot harder in the actual hsc imo...

but if u can do all 7 q perfectly, u'd get E4... infact, u'd get ~95 already...

Have to see if my school can get more than 1/2 this year, but theres no way we're beating last year (72%).

how much do you guys study each day for 4u or maths??? and also the amount of H/W thatu get each time?

I think our school dont give enough HW....so the result tell me that i should study more...i guess The fact is that i havent really study for 4U... so depressing.. i dont know which band i will get...

LSP: Coming up to the HSC you should do at least 2-3 papers per week for each maths.
