are there good cafes at the bankstown campus?

Since the campus is small we only have 1 cafeteria (upstairs in Building 1). They sell hot food, coffee, drinks and such. Nothing special though.

The village (about 2 mins walk - on the next block) has a burger place, bakery, kebab shop and a chinese food place. That's about it. Being in the middle of no where is sort of a problem.

lol, the bankstown canteen is soooooooooooooooooo gay, the food is stale, they roid ppl, my bacon sandwich for $3.80, its bloody aint worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i always kinda hoped that the cafe would be the coolest hang out to..hang out. Talk about suckage, man...

We usually hang around outside on the benches and such. The cafeteria is an okay place to bum and isn't that packed most of the time.

Should have just got chips with gravy .... simple, cheap and most of the time fills you up.

If you drive 5 mins up to Bankstown Airport, there's a KFC/Taco Bell and Hungry Jacks.

some of the stuff isnt that bad
they have good wedges and the sandwiches they make are ok. Ooooh and they make good hot chocolate and coffeee!

The hot chocolates are the bestest <3 The chips and gravy aren't too bad either.

i checked out the cafe today at orientation day - and the sitting area is pretty good at bankstown. Nice and big. With a dodgey lounge.

I imagine it would get cold a fair bit too! It was a bit dreary and rainy today at orientation. I wanna join the hockey club

One thing I like about the Bankstown Cafes is that bottles of coke (600ml) are pretty cheaper at $2 a bottle. Cheering, since I'm addicted that that stuff.
