I'm not too sure, but I believe parts of this ad is filmed at usyd... actually thinking about it, I wouldn't be surprised if all of it is filmed at usyd. Look at the picture below. Ogm I think that's outside the chem labs!

EDIT: lol it looks like two of the people are kissing!
EDITEDIT: Our uni kicks other unis' arses, so of course they'd choose our uni to film their ad!

Haha. I'm not near/in the Chem building much but it kinda looks like it.

On a side note, an AMEX ad was filmed in Eastern Avenue Auditorium last year

Edit: Ooh, just saw the ad on TV but there must be different versions or something cos I didn't see the Chem scene. They definitely filmed in McLaurin Hall in the quad though.

The film 'Solo' features the Sydney Uni quadrangle and classrooms - one of the characters is an Honours student.

Definitely filmed at uni. I recognised shots inside McLaurin Hall, the front of St Andrew's College and the gates off Parramatta Rd to St John's College.

judging from that pic alone, it does look like the room outside the 1st yr (?) chemistry labs. ahhh good memories of the chemistry bridging course...
