Hi,
My question is, can you do all of the subjects offered in BFinance degree by doing a BCom(Fins). Also, how many majors can you do in a double degree?

Thanks

What is the difference between Bachelor of Commerce (major in finance) and Bachelor of Finance?

Undertaking the finance major in the BComm means that students get to do 6 subjects in finance and gain a solid grounding in other business disciplines. However, the BFin provides a more in-depth, focused study of finance. This is because in the BFin students have to do 15 subjects in finance, and have less choice of what to study than the BComm.
compare the units here:

i'm sure you can do the finance units as electives in your later years, but then why not just transfer your degree to B Fin? the only reason why i would assume you would stick with B Comm would be if you intended to do TWO majors (and one major in your Sci degree) in your commerce component (which is entirely possible, DEPENDING on what majors you wish... [it's quite technical])

(note: i'm doing B Fin and B Sci (Maths). B Fin is certainly a lot more specialised and uncommon than B Comm majoring in Fin. B Fin is also a lot more maths based - i believe there are two units dedicated to modeling. hopefully my sci degree will compliment my fin degree well)

you may get a job but i hear the occupation of "paint-drying inspector" is a little more exciting. just a smidgen little more. not much though.

simple S/D my friend. excess demand -> high demand = low supply . perhaps a reason reason for low supply is because it's so fucking boring that nobody in their right minds would want to spend 9 hours a day valuing assets and preparing income/balance statements?
