was anybody hired as an xmas casual and then been offered 2 stay on...? i work at sanity and was hired as an xmas casual (As were like 10 others at my store) and then my manager asked me to stay on after my contract finished (30th Jan). out of the 10 or so ppl hired for the xmas period only 4 of us have been asked 2 stay back...... anyone else been asked to stay back (sanity ppl in particular)
there is a downside however......ive only been gettin one 3hr shift a wk........that sux

one question, why do sanity generally have hot chicks at checkout?

i work at sanity chullora, i also only get one 3 hour shift a week (sometimes not even) because they overhired. not sure if i'll get asked to stay after my contract expires because of christmas casual.

I work at Myer, and apparently they will only keep 5 people out of 65 hired, so competition is big.
It would be good to stay on, however hours won't be very good.
