The only book by him I have read is High Society which was brilliant - he captured emotions perfectly, wove the story expertly, made me think, made me feel for characters and made me laugh.
In sum I believe High Society can accurately be likened to a Shakespearean tragedy, it centres on a mian character who is at essence good and trying to do the right thing however ultimately a character flaw will lead to his fall and that of all those around him. Also like Shakespeare he has a powerful message to relay.
