Anyone know about BEng(materials science and eng)/Masters of biomed eng.
Why is it offered to undergrads when it has masters? Is the masters done after the bachelor degree?
And what are the job prospects for it?
Can I transfer to chem eng after first year?

1. its offered to undergraduates because it a bachelor degree, yes the post graduate course work is done after, but this guarantees you get into the postgraduate course*
2. dont quote me on this, but it looks like a research field, academic or with natural resource companies
3. yes you can transfer to chem eng after first year (most core subjects are shared)

* spots are limited
* as prospects appear to be more research based, post graduate qualifications are typically necessary.

Would you consider this degree or would chem eng be better in terms of job prospects?
And do you study an eng degree?
