How in depth do we have to go into this? I know the basics of it (difference in pressure creates lift) but do we have to know any calculations or formulas?

My teacher said it is not going to be on the HSC formula sheet, so we only need to have an understanding, but I don't know if I shoudl believe him or not.

i think so, if you just have a solid understanding of it, like knowing that the molecules of air passover and under the wing, and how they need to go faster ofthe the top which creates lift. that is all ithink you need to know, but another thing that might be of help if is the angle of attack (angle of the wing to the relative airflow) is greater then 16 degrees upwards then the wing stalls

just make sure you use key points like low pressure over the wing and high pressure under the wing. then you will do ok
