What's wrong with Sister Ray? Great track. Good list, icecreamdisco.

sure did

dead c were amazing, though they only had a 30 min set. richard bishop was great too

are you into theoretical girls?

AMT & Brotzmann are amazing too, i haven't heard kousokuya

check out Les Rallizes Denudes, High Rise and Altered States. you'd probably like 'em if yr into fushitsusha

i went to both sideshows at the gaelic club... $30 cheaper, even if that meant no residents. dead c were great, but 30 minutes was too short; they kinda stopped abruptly as soon as they were getting really amazing. same w/ black dice. richard bishop gave a great 'musical' performance. sunn o))) were awesome once they got over their techincal difficulties.

haven't heard theoretical girls, but i pass their anthology-type CD at paint it black everytime i go there.

that rallizes album (live '77) is nearly impossible to find, but its high on my list. i've considered ordering high rise straight from the psf label. haven't heard of altered states. thx for the heads up.

i got kousokuya's 1st from redeye for $40, but was worth every cent. you'll probably cream yourself over it considering what you like; a little less extreme than fushitsusha but still incredible.

eh? i can whistle sister ray.

and sister ray is absolutely nothing compared to my choice of fushitsusha's pathetique... makes wolf eyes sound like bright eyes.
i like the track, but i can't listen to 20 something minutes of ear peircing treble enough to have it pop up on a favorite closers list

plus i wanted to say something about masturbating with razorblades

residents were a bit of a disappointment. they put on a good show, but they seemed kinda... too polished. i don't know. i didn't see the whole thing, cause i kept on running back and forth, waiting for dead c to start

sunn had difficulties at the onathon too- ritter's moog wasn't working so he spent most of the set giving the finger to the crowd & sound guys

yeah, i was entranced by black dice. they put on such an amazing show. and i stalked one of the dudes for a while afterwards

if you've got soulseek i'm sharing a couple of rallizes albums, and also a couple of collabs with haino & brotzmann which are... interesting

Radiohead - Motion Picture Soundtrack

Tv on the radio - Mr Grieves (do EP's count? Sure....)
word

although the aussie version of turn on the bright lights has an even better closer (The Specialist)

also, why single out that radiohead album? they all close brilliantly
