Was trying to find Machievelli's "The Art of War" but couldn't find it in local library. One bookshop i went to i couldn't find it. Wondering where is the best place to buy/borrow books?

BTW, i that there is a huge library in the city (State library i think). I havent been there before. How do i get an admission and where abouts is it. Thanks

I think you can get most bookstores to order in the book for you - my local bookstore does that as does like Borders, Kinokuniya, etc (in the city).
Yeah the State Library is umm I think it's Macquarie street, to get there by train you get off at the Martin place station and it's right near it. You don't pay to go but you can't borrow books out but you can photocopy. Google for the State library website and it's got directions on how to get there and stuff. Hope this helps!

Perhaps the reason that this book is so difficult to find is that it doesn't exist. The Art of War is by Sun Tzu. Nicholo Machiavelli's best known work is The Prince, and is recommended. :)

Hmm, maybe I mixed up the names. Anyway, it was a recommended reading list from a cousin of mine. Thanks for the replies

Borders in the city or Macquarie Centre is pretty cool. if you can't find it there, go to the borders website www.bordersstores.com and order it online if you can. if you prefer not to, then try kinokuniya in the galeries vic. and get them to order it internationally for u. u dont have to pay an ordering fee, only for the book. cool huh??

The best bookstore would probably be Borders, most of them have other media stuff as well apart from books. As for libaries, the State one is huge and has almost everything, no need for admission, just walk in and if you need help, ask, i'm sure there's people around willing to help ^.^
