where do u guys reckon would be the best place for a 16yo guy to work with very flexible hours - as in 1 or 2 days a week only and with good workin conds - no shit


and no fast food!!!!

usually people will hire you if you can work alot.. then once you get there you need to change your availabilty once they are stuck with you lol
i dont think you should be so picky for your first job though.. apply everywhere and take what you get

lol..well i think its great ..really i do
nah..its not bad..i love it most of the time
but thats when there are no customers..no bitchy supervisors and no bludging skanky co-workers

thats maybe once a month..

Dude, seriously, not all fast food is that bad. I work at Oporto, which is actually pretty fun. Nobody takes the stupid customers seriously ;) Also if you're out back doing the burgers, you can just sit around and talk to the other guys when there are no customers.

there isnt much of a choice but like supermarkets or fast food
or if ur major lucky..something bigger and better then that
like c.d shop
video shop
clothes shop like jeans west jayjays etc
or department store
target kmart big w
not much option

You just cut out about 90% of your possible employers.

Macca's is definitely a good bet if you want flexibility in working hours. Conditions aren't that bad. Also there's little REAL responsibility. You may be assigned to making sure fries don't run out or stuff, but even if they do, it's not so much you problem.

big companies with lots of employees so they don't get too pissed when you cant' work certain days

I would absaloutely love to work at supre because i love shopping there so much but there isnt one where i live :( as soon as i move to charlestown next year the first place i am applying is there!
