I'm surprised there isnt this poll already, but im new here so maybe it just got moved or something, but what is the best sport ever?
i think its NRL because of various reasons, but mainly because the number of tries in an average game is just right. In soccer there arent enough goals normally, and in say basketball, the points come way too quickly it becomes repetetive.

lol u rkn nrl is the best sport in the world?
i can understand where you are coming from, but the skill lvl in nrl is no where near the skill lvl in soccer (or football for u wannabe europenas/sth americans), tennis, golf, cricket etc for example.

i don;t know if u mean to play or to watch but for me, i pretty much watch or play any sport, but afl and league are pretty thrilling to watch, i like to watch tennis and cricket too.

in terms of the best sport ever evented, how could u go past snow skiing :)

Define best?... this really is the stupidest thread of all..
"define best", "define Sport", "Define ever"

I would have to say cricket because its a great team game, anything goes, u can never be winning or losing there is always a chance no matter the situation. And you get to spend the day/days with your mates having fun. Its a great game

Soccer/Football is the world game and it is definitely up there too. This is a game of skill and intellect where teamwork is very important.

fine. best sport to watch and follow. and you really think this is the "stupidest" thread out of some 69000 on this site? including those crappy fashion threads? wow ur quite the moron.

and as for tennis...i cant be expected to remember all the sports there are. either way i only count team sports as true sports...they require more tactics...

lawn bowls certainly isn't for the nerds... great game to play with a few mates and a few beers... I'll go through my bests:
best game to play for me = league.
best game to be good at = soccer.
best game to be good at in australia = afl/cricket.
best game to get on the piss while playing = lawn bowls :D
