i have an exam tommorow morning but anywho...

The best things about exam period! can you think of any? I can!

* everyone looks like crap! which allows me to feel like i can wear whatever i want without feeling out of place..and hence leading to personally
*wearing big baggy jumpers that i used to think were oh so cool back in year 9!
*finding it amusing how the girls that fully dress up to uni (not thats it a bad thing!) come to uni in their gym pants, sneakers and saucony jumpers hahaha

Oh yes exam period is the best time to check out what everyone wears! lol

NOTE: I am the WORST dresser when it comes to exam period... i literally chuck on whatever i find most comfortable and that usually entails big jumpers and my gym pants lol

Whoot!

I agree - I love wearing horrible clothes during exam time. If I could, I'd go in my pj's just because its so comfy! And then I can sit cross-legged on the chair and feel as if I'm at home just studying (and I'm therefore less stressed).

And you're always warm.

Oh, and no brushing of hair. Always helpful.

um, you're all one up on me. there has to be something good about exam period...

while i'm thinking, i'll keep typing, exam period is the time when all my clothes that i haven't worn all semester come out, haha, the warmest, most layered, most comfy, crappest clothes. we just go to uni and sit in a chair for a couple of hours anyway.

ok i thought of something, nerdy, but it's the only time of the year when i know things. i hate that i go to lectures and forget what they were about the day after.

hahaha

For both my HSC and this year's round of exams, I'm taking an effort to maintain my appearance under the theory that it's my "break" from study (for some reason I always feel more motivated when I'm a bit dolled up, don't know why? Maybe it's a performance thing). So I bought that Dove 'summer glow' stuff and have been using it, and also put makeup on this morning :D

I wish my study was so easy, though. take-home essays have been fine, SOC289 note study... not so easy :( But am trying!

lol i hate exam period.. there is no best thing
its always the time of the year that i get the coldest, most tired and laziest
and then i feel guilty about not stressing

oh yeh and with the dressed up thing, me too.. cuz i'd get all self conscious if im toootally scragged up
but with that said, i look scraggy half the time anyway lol.. so i guess it doesnt make too much difference

Aren't the words "scrag" and "scraggy" funny? They are so similar alphabetically, but their meanings are so totally different.

Just thought I'd mention that coz I though you had said "scrag" and I thought to myself "I cant picture anyone on BoS fitting into the 'scrag' category".

And cold. Hello, it's winter! :p

MJ's suggestion of pyjamas is good, though. I think I wore trackpants to one exam last year (I NEVER wear trackpants out of the house unless I am going directly to work), because I'd been studying in them for the last 24 hours, and was so comfortable in them/wanted to recreate that comfortable feeling. :D

no early morning culture lectures woo!
plus it is a nice feeling that the exams we (i) an studying for - only last an hour or two, then i hav big gaps - only three subjects -whereas high school friends are madly studying sy 8 subjects and stressing over trials coming up etc - is a good feeling i don't have to feel what they are feeling

wah i really need to stop procrastinating - shame i can't submit this for work - if only essays where as easy as posts (insert reference here)

That is a pretty good break.

slightly off topic: I hope all those images in your sig are from the same ep, or otherwise those two must live in those shirts (granted she changes tops in one). It must be exam time at Dawsons Creek High - they like wearing the crappy clothes they sleep in to exams, just like us MQ kiddies! :p

I love how casual the exam are at mac. I wish i had 3 exams rather than an exam and 2 major essays. Exams is 1 day of thinking, essay is ongoing (even if you dont actually do anything on it until last minute) until it gets handed up and because you've had so much time it feels like you should do a good job. I dont know why but i find exams so much easier and less stressful. In, out, its over.
